The Blue Line Rail Extension is located in Los Angeles and Pasadena, California. Work on the light rail extension required tracks, signal work, stations, cut-and cover tunnels, a maintenance facility and rolling stock.
The extension runs along the existing rail right of way from Los Angeles to Claremont. Revised at-grade platform construction methods, and more efficient use of Authority radio facilities.
The study included alternative design and construction approaches.
Constructability and Design Reviews.
Quarterly Cost and Schedule Reviews.
Evaluated utility work proposed by DWP.
